I have my good days and bad days, like anyone else, but for the most part I lay my head down every night so grateful for the wonderful life God has blessed me with.
I’ve been married to my sweet husband Harold for 5 years- he is strong, loving, and a wonderful father. He is a deep thinker, who keeps me from falling prey to just “going through the motions” of life. I cannot imagine my life without him.
I am a full-time SAHM (Stay-at-home-mom) to two beautiful boys, Harrison (4) and Ruben (3). Some days I feel like I’m failing, and other days I seem to grasp a moment where I feel like everything is just as it should be, and these perfect sweet boys teach me just as much as I teach them. I thank God for them every.single.day.
I have parents who literally amaze me. Some days I still feel like the bratty teenage daughter who doesn’t appreciate them- I think sometimes just because nothing I could ever say could come close to the gratitude they deserve. My boys get to have a deep and close relationship with their grandparents, and I wouldn’t trade that for anything. Even the “Mooomm, ugh!!” moments. =)
I have been blessed with many wonderful extended family members and friends- my sweet brother, my Mother-in-law who ROCKS, high-school friends, college friends, Rochester friends… the list literally goes on and on.
I love being a SAHM first and foremost. But I truly have the best of both worlds, as I have 2 very spectacular, very flexible jobs that help me contribute to our family and get me out in the world- talking about things other than play-doh and potty training. =)
